About the Consortium
Charting a course for the future of psychedelics by focusing on real-world evidence and community collaboration.
Our Guiding Principles
Who We Are
The Real World Psychedelics Consortium is a decentralized, collaborative network of academic institutions, community-based organizations, and allies. Guided by the principles of community-based research, harm reduction, cognitive liberty, public health and Open Science, we aim to inform policy and co-create safer, more just psychedelic ecosystems.
Our Values
Our work is grounded in a collaborative and inclusive tone. We position ourselves as a bridge between grassroots wisdom and institutional influence, with a core differentiator being our focus on real-world data and lived experience over purely clinical research. We are evidence-aware, not evidence-dogmatic.
Our Mission
We gather, share, and elevate real-world data on psychedelic use, amplifying the voices of people who use psychedelics (PUPs), patients, and practitioners across Indigenous, religious, clinical, and community-based settings. Our goal is to expand our collective understanding and reduce harm.
Our Vision
We envision a world where community-based, real-world psychedelic knowledge, experiences and expertise can inform equitable policies, improve safe access, reduce harms and expand our collective understanding of psychedelics for the benefit of all.
